Merchant House is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified when using this website, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement. Merchant House may change this policy from time to time by updating this page.

What We Collect

We collect user provided information. Information is collected through the use of web forms including but not limited to contact forms, sign up forms and checkout forms. User information collected for example would be names, email addresses and phone numbers. If you make a purchase through our website payments are processed through a trusted third party encrypted gateway. Merchant House does not collect and store credit card information. All payment details are handled by the secure third party processor.

What We do with Collected Information

We require this information to understand your needs and provide you with a better service, and in particular for the following reasons:

  • Internal record keeping. We may use the information to improve our products and services

Shipping and Handling

Pick Up:
Sold items MUST be picked up within SEVEN business days of purchase. If additional time is needed, please contact Merchant House as soon as possible. In some cases, arrangements can be made to store items for a longer period of time for an additional storage fee. For customers facilitating their own pick-ups, please bring extra hands to help and blankets/packing materials. Customers are responsible for loading purchases.

Items that have not been picked up within 30 days are considered abandoned property and will be forfeited without refund. If you are unable to pick up within this timeframe, please contact us ASAP.

Delivery:
If you need to assistance with arranging a local delivery, we are happy to recommend third party delivery companies who are affordable and reliable. Please ask us about pre-scheduled delivery dates that may be available.

Please note: Delivery companies are not affiliated with Merchant House. Any delivery incident should be taken up with the delivery company directly. Payment for delivery is made directly to the provider.

Shipping:
We currently only offer in-store pickup. We will gladly provide a list of recommended pack and mail services for smalls and interstate shippers for large items. If you would like to ship an item via third party shipper, please contact us to coordinate shipping. Select "Local Pickup" upon checkout and email us at hello@merchanthouse.co.

We cannot assume any risks associated with shipping and are not responsible for any delays, missing packages, or damage during transit. Your shipping carrier should provided insurance and it is the buyer's responsibility to file a claim should an item go missing or become damaged during shipment.
